The MISSION BELLE is scheduled to fish the Coronado Islands on Tuesday June 16th. Yellowtail fishing the past few days has been very good with fish biting flylined baits and the surface iron. Call (619) 223-1627 to reserve your spot. Please note, all passengers need a passport to board the boat.

The DAILY DOUBLEis running two half day trips a day: 6:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. and 1:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. Target species include Bass, Rockfish, Yellowtail, Bonito, Halibut, Barracuda and more. License and tackle rental are available before departure.

* Mexican law now requires a Passport or Passport card for entry to coastal Mexican territory within 12 miles of land. This mostly pertains to 3/4 day and overnight coastal trips. No other form of I.D. is accepted any longer, so if you have not already, please apply for your Passport or Passport card today. *

Markus from the New Lo-An called in with a quick update on his 1.5 day trip. Currently has limits of yellowtail and 1 yellowfin for his 28 Anglers. On the hunt for more yellowfin throught the end of his day. Captain Steve Peterson and the Mission Belle are out at the Coronado Islands today on a 3/4 day charter. Suggested tackle for any trip offshore includes: Line sizes from 25-50lb, hooks from 2/0-4/0, fluorocarbon leader material and a few jigs of varying size and color.
