Markus from the New Lo-An called in with a quick update on his 1.5 day trip. Currently has limits of yellowtail and 1 yellowfin for his 28 Anglers. On the hunt for more yellowfin throught the end of his day.
Captain Steve Peterson and the Mission Belle are out at the Coronado Islands today on a 3/4 day charter. Currently have 35+ yellowtail boated all in the 25-30 pounds class range. It's been tough to get trips out to then islands due to Passport regulations. But the rewards seem to be well worth it. Check out the Mission Belle schedule to see when they are headed out to Coronado.
The DAILY DOUBLE is running two half day trips a day: 6:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. and 1:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. Target species include Bass, Rockfish, Yellowtail, Bonito, Halibut, Barracuda and more. License and tackle rental are available before departure.
* Mexican law now requires a Passport or Passport card for entry to coastal Mexican territory within 12 miles of land. This mostly pertains to 3/4 day and overnight freelance trips. No other form of I.D. is accepted any longer, so if you have not already, please apply for your Passport or Passport card today. *
