We fished locally today and got in on some action on yellowfin and blue fin tuna. It was plunk style type fishing where long drifts were the name of the game. Everyone aboard got at least one with the hot dogs catching multiple fish. Ralph, Jenn and Shawn got in on some grey light yft and buddies Kevin and Liwei show off a BFT caught on an artificial.

We made it down to the yellowtail grounds and were prepared to settle in for some steady fishing. Although it was a little choppy, conditions were similar to how they have been and there was pretty good sign of fish. One can kind of see where this is going - as for whatever reason the fish were reluctant to bite. We looked in other likely areas and found fish for mostly the same results.
