Today was another day where there was not a lot of loose fish, just a few schools. The fish were not jumping out of the water or making themselves obvious which made it even harder to get the boat over them. We only had one shot at the bluefin today and they really didn't stick around that long. The wind came up in the afternoon which made it even tougher - today ended up being a drive-around-day.

Too Much Of A Good Thing

We ran out from the yellowtail grounds in the nicest weather of our new 2012 season. We looked forward to glassing in grease calm weather but like everything, there is always the other side to the story. We went to the yellowtail grounds and had a tough go at it. There were a few different areas that definitely had potential, but for different reasons we could never put it together.
