Weather, The weather still hot and humid at this time of year, temperatures were between 85?? to 95 there was an unexpected rain during last Sunday morning making it very difficult to go fishing, we go fishing until the following day on Monday morning.
Dorado's, Their captures was going between last week and this one, more slow on this week, one this week we fish most of the time between el Bajo del Medio and el Bajo de Afuera, 25 to 35 miles north of Loreto, we found small schools of Dorado's on this week and weight 12 to 35 pounds. Also we hear a commentary from the crew on the 10 miles east on Carmen Island captures was same is on the others spots.
Stripper Marlin, we found a good number of them and the weight going from 90 to 200 pounds, on the same Dorado's spots.
Tuna, we not hear more news about captures on this week.
Yellowtail, we hear on the San Bruno reef north of Loreto 18 miles, La Vaca reef north of Carmen Island captures some of them and use of bait pieces of calamari. The yellowtails weight going from 20 to 30 pounds.
Squid, there is plenty to capture 2 to 3 miles away from of Loreto and also on Coronado Island.
Mackerel: Available on??Coronado Island or at the harbor, catch your own or buy it early on the morning at the marine, at the price of 10 pieces for $ 15.00 U.S. and 20 pieces for $ 25.00 U.S
