Red Rooster III anglers have known a remarkable friend for the past 35 years, but they may not yet know he could use some help. Jorge Nicifore (known by anglers as "George,") has been the chef aboard the Lee Palm Sportfishers boats (Chubasco, Red Rooster, Red Rooster II and Red Rooster III) all that time, and he has more friends than almost anyone at the docks.
B Recently he suffered what was at first thought to be a heart attack or stroke. In the hospital, however, it was determined to be even more serious. Jorge has a brain tumor that radiation treatment. His daughter Christina is a doctor and is overseeing his case at Hospital Florence in Tijuana. He has two other children, Gina and Jorge Jr.
