The Excel is ready to start fishing at Clarion's Buffer zone today. Red Rooster III is halfway to the Hurricane Bank. Royal Star is testing the water at Alijos Rocks, seeing some tuna and catching yellowtail. The next few days should bring us new stories of big tuna fishing in the deep southern waters, and more news of yellowtail and tuna in waters within 500 miles of San Diego.
