The New Lo-An checked in with 5 Bluefin Tuna for the morning so far. Lots of casualties due to lighter line and pulled hooks. The tuna range from 120 lbs to 140 lbs. Make sure to bring an 80# outfit if you’re fishing offshore.
The T-bird returned from a 1.5 day trip this morning with 9 Yellowfin Tuna, 1 Yellowtail, 1 Dorado and 2 Bonito for 13 passengers
The Game Changer returned from a 2.5 day trip this morning with 2 Bluefin Tuna and 34Yellowtail for 6 passengers
The Vagabond also returned from a 2.5 day trip this morning with 16 Bluefin Tuna, 14 Yellowfin Tuna, 1 Dorado and 38Yellowtail for 22 passengers
Local trips:
The Daily Double departs twice a day for ½ day trips to the local kelp beds. Departure times are 8:30 am and 3:00 pm.
The Point Loma has local ¾ day trips scheduled every day. Departure time is 6:30 am. No passport required for this trip.
The Mission Belle is currently running full day trip to the Coronado Islands. Departure time is 6:00 am. All passengers will need a valid passport or passport card to board the boat.
Some things to keep in mind in order to be able to go forward are that social distancing practices and safe medical practices must be adhered to and are as follows:
1. Any angler that has any cold or flu symptoms must stay at home.
2. All anglers must wear a mask and that covers both mouth and nose.
3. Anglers must keep a minimum of a 6-foot distance at all times.
4. All anglers fishing on an Overnight trip or longer must bring their own pillow and blanket.
