Captain Adam on the New Lo-An just called in with an update from their 1.5 day trip. They have caught 45 Bluefin Tuna in the 60-80lb range.

The Chief returned to the dock this morning with 6 Bluefin Tuna in the 60 to 90 pound range. For these Bluefin trips, please remember to bring a light, medium and heavy setup as well as a variety of different size hooks.


The ChiefEl Capitan, New Lo-An and T-Bird all have 1 day and 1½ day trips scheduled during the month of June. Call our office to book any of these trip.

Upcoming Local Trips:

The 1/2 day boat Point Loma departs at 8:30 am for fishing at the local kelp beds and other hot spots. Ticket price is $52 for adults, $42 for seniors or active duty military and $37 for juniors. Return time is between 2:30 and 3:00 pm. A California fishing license will be additional. No passport required for this trip. Starting on May 31st, the Point Loma will offer two trips a day on Friday's and Saturday's. Departure times are at 8:30 am and again at 3:00 pm. 
 
The Mission Belle is scheduled daily for Full Day trips to the Coronado Islands. This trip will be targeting Yellowtail, Bonito, Bass and Rockfish. A VALID passport book or passport card is required for all passengers going on the trip. Ticket price includes your Mexican fishing license, tourist visa and biosphere bracelet.

The Point Loma called in with 60 Rockfish, 1 Whitefish, 2 Sheephead and 1 Sculpin for their AM 1/2 Day trip. The Mission Belle called in with 74 Red Rockfish, 5 Calico Bass, 25 Whitefish, 70 Rockfish, 1 Sheephead and 5 Sculpin on their Full Day trip.
