We had times of very tough weather which made fishing conditions tough this trip. There was sign of fish but it was very difficult to get bites with the combination of the wind and smaller hook baits. However, on this trip the plus sides definitely outweighed the minuses. The grade of fish was a very nice 90-190lbs with a few that weighed over two hundred pounds. Most importantly was the cohesiveness of the group that seems to be the signature of this trip every year. Pictured is our jackpot winner Tom Mato who landed a 248lb fish on a skipjack along with our fearless leader Gary Teraoka.  Gary once again did a fine job as our Accurate sponsor and would like to thank Izorline, Calstar Rods, Baja Fish Gear, Salas Lures, Sportsman Seafood, and of course Mr. Jack Nielsen from Accurate Reels for their generosity.

The guys checked in - nice traveling weather for them as they are behind the storm and everyone is doing well.  The wifi is still down and for those of you more tech savy folks......the box is broke and working on a solution but it doesn't look like they'll have it before their return on Tuesday morning.  Thank you for your patience American Angler......
