On the Edge
With distance between the yellowtail grounds and tuna grounds being so far apart, today we had to cover a lot of uncharted water. We didn't know what to expect but kept the confidence high in beautiful weather and even though we didn't put any big numbers aboard, still found ourselves having a rewarding day. These premium yellowfin shown below gave us a few samples of what we hope to see tomorrow, and along with a couple handfuls of tuna the gang had several opportunities throughout the day to capture one of these nice dorado as well. Jumping, flipping and doing their thing it was a nice way to break up the ride. Looking forward to the last two days on the tuna grounds and we feel highly prepared.
