After having our fill of fun with the yellows, we went offshore looking for action. The weather was halfway decent and we were pleasantly surprised with some pretty good action on 18-30lb yellowfin. We had various strikes and meter marks throughout the day and ended up with about 90 fish.

We enjoyed the same steady action on good grade yellows just like we did yesterday but we had a full day to get the job done. Running From The Wind

We chose to run down to the yellowtail grounds in hopes of having decent offshore conditions on the backside of the trip. We arrived at our destination in the early afternoon and saw pretty good sign of yellowtail right away. We had steady fishing until dark and everyone got into the groove and had a great time.
