This afternoon was our first day of fishing and went just as we had hoped it would, with very steady fishing on 18 to 25lb Tuna - which got the Jitters out of everybody's system.
We are rolling down the line a bit to try another spot for the morning and we'll just take it from there.
Weather is beautiful and the gang is all well .

Capt. Ray along with key players Taro, Andrew, Brad and Jordan on deck, backed into Pt Loma Sportfishing early this morning with a surprise catch of 24 tuna over 100lbs and 10 yellowfin tuna over 200lbs. They also caught Wahoo, Dorado and yellowtail and had beautiful weather all but one day of the trip - very nice. We're On The Hunt

Yesterday's hot afternoon action kept momentum going into sunset, which put us behind schedule for our next day's move. Lucky for us.... we had good riding weather and arrived around two in the afternoon and began making a few pit stops dropping yo yo jigs and throwing surface irons, which produced a couple handfuls of 16-22# yellowtail. We are still heading up and committing tomorrow to the hunt and with good weather in the forecast, we have high hopes...... Read More
