We started out where we finished up our last trip hoping for a shot on those better grade bluefin. Yesterday one of our comrades had great fishing but today was definitely different. We had one short stop where we landed a couple of handfuls of that nice fish but that was it for the whole fleet. We ended up picking some smaller grade bluefin and yellowfin throughout the day but the head turners were the handful of albacore that we caught out of a couple of stops. Galen, Bobby and Al were the proud recipients of one of our first stops as it seems we always want what we don't have.

We chose to fish for 6 days on this 7 day trip because of the chance for quality good grade fish in the semi local grounds. Today we were once again blessed with good weather and good fishing.
