After hearing the reports of good fishing and good weather on the grounds, we woke up this morning in hopes we could keep the ball rolling. Come daybreak, the fleet spread out in search of proper water conditions and we kept our fingers crossed hoping it would just be a matter of time. With a handful of short stops and a long slow plunker on these beautiful 25-40# yellowfin to break up the morning, it kept us confident and excited to see what the afternoon would bring.
Low and behold, just after lunch time we managed to get on a biting school of yellowfin and 20-40# bluefin. Plenty of excitement, over and unders, and heartbreaks were all part of the fun.
After all was said and done, everyone was able to use some of their tuna tags and hopes are high that we can pull off a repeat tomorrow.
Today's photo stars are jay preston displaying one of beautiful yellows that are available in the area and Mr. Bill patton showing off one of his beautiful grade yellowfin he caught today.

Blessed,

The Boys

We got on a deal that began with classic 8 - 10 hooked, which eventually settled into a steady plunk. Unfortunately for us, after that stop, things were...... Read More
