The boat backed in after a productive 1.5 day trip. The guys had almost 100 yellowtail - respectable size, 10-15 bft, a couple of dorado and nice weather. A huge thanks to chartermaster and organizer, Mike Flores - we appreciate you bringing your guys and beautiful gals fishing on the American Angler!

Jackpot honors went to:

1st place Ryan Carry 30 somethinglb bft
2nd place Kinny Parrott 30 something less lb yt

We've been making the long haul on our short trips lately and today everything fell into place. This morning we got in the right bubble of water and found a Kelp that we spent a couple hours catching mostly good grade Yellows mixed with some BFTs and a couple of Dorado to boot. The boat rolled in a little later than usual this morning with a fresh catch of 60 or so tuna - mostly bft with a few yft's in the mix and a couple of handfuls of yellowtail.
