Three Quarter Day Bluefin!

UPDATE 5:00pm - The San Diego finished their three quarter day trip on Wednesday with 16 Bluefin Tuna (25-35lbs) for their 21 anglers.  Thursdays trip aboard the San Diego is a GO FOR SURE!  Departure time is 5:30am and no passports required.

The Pacific Voyager finished their 2 Day Charter with 17 Bluefin Tuna (all caught on the second day of the trip within one day range) and 90 Yellowtail.

Recommended tackle for these Bluefin Tuna would include a 25# or 30# outfit with a fluorocarbon leader to a size number 2 hook.  Small flat fall jigs have also been working well.

San Diego on the Bluefin again!

UPDATE 11:45am - Captain Ryan on the San Diego just called in with 3 Bluefin Tuna so far for their three quarter day trip!  These fish are 25lbs to 35lbs each and captain Ryan is recommending 25# and 30# fluorocarbon for these fish and smaller flat fall jigs. The San Diego has plenty of open space all week and weekend targeting Bluefin and Yellowtail offshore.  She departs daily at 5:30am!...... Read More

UPDATE 3:00pm - Captain Cameron and the San Diego are now up to 12 Bluefin Tuna (18-25lbs) for their 19 anglers!  Plenty of space is still available on tomorrows three quarter day trip!  10:00am - The San Diego is up to 5 Bluefin Tuna so far for their three quarter day trip!  They have the rest of the afternoon left to fish so stay tuned for more updates!
