The ice is gone and the lake is full. The marina (boat rentals and moorage) and restaurant/store are open, as are the Jackson County Parks campgrounds and boat ramps. Fishing has been slow with few big fish showing up in the catch. Try using a threaded nightcrawler under a bobber or Powerbait fished off the bottom. Legal-sized trout have been stocked to complement trout stocked last year. The water surface temperature was 47oF last weekend.
