Hello everyone;
We arrived to Guadalupe at 07:30 hours, started looking around. We made a few drifts for some Yellowtail and a handful of Yellowfin.
After lunch things started to pick up for us. We had a good school of Yellowfin around the boat, and it didn’t take long before we started landing 70 to 90 pound Yellowfin tuna.
The largest Yellowfin today was caught on the kite, but Robin Chang. Robin’s was estimated at 145 pounds, but it could go larger. Largest bait fish came on the chunk, caught by Dave Cohen. Sal fish topped the scale’s at 131. pounds.
We had numerous fish around the 100 pound mark.
It was the day of personnel best showers for many of our anglers today. Adam bishop, John Garlichs, Joe Bullan, David Yi, Hunter Bryson, just to name a few.
We will try to make a tank of bait, and give it the old college try again tomorrow. So wish us luck and we will keep you posted on our daily events. Team R/p.
