Captain Shawn Steward checked in today with an update from the Aloha Spirit out Channel Islands Harbor in Oxnard. Today we had a fun day along the kelp edges!
The yellowtail fishing was much slower. For the fleet today but tomorrow is another day.
FISH COUNT: Today 20 anglers caught 59 Calico Bass, 132 Ocean Whitefish (aka SFR Fish), 1 California Halibut, 5 Rockfish, 5 California Brracuda and 8 Pacific Bonito.
The Aloha Spirit runs 5 AM trips out of CISCOs in Oxnard. We target White Seabass, Calico Bass, Yellowtail and Halibut when available. We also will run Rockfish and Lingcod Specials. Call CISCOs at (805) 382-1612 or BOOK ONLINE.
